Networking is an important lifelong skill to learn and practice.
Meet with employers from a variety of industries and learn tips on how to professionally interact in a social setting.
All students in all years and all majors are encouraged to attend.
-Registration is recommended, but not required.
-Dress is business casual. Light refreshments will be served.
-There will be industry tables for structured networking and open networking. Industry tables will include business, communication, engineering, government/non-profit, medical/healthcare and technical.
-This is a free event, sponsored by Kohl's Corporate.
-List of employers is available on MU Career Manager (updated daily).
How to Prepare:
- Where you are now (degree, program, year in college)
- Where you have been (career-related experience, leadership experience, part-time work experience)
- Where you are going (future goals)
- Leave your resume at home. Instead, ask the employers you meet with how best to follow up after the event. The employers you talk to may be hiring, so he/she may direct you to their website or MU Career Manager to apply.
