The Trinisys Intern QA Analyst position will be 35-40 hours per week, Monday – Friday for approximately twelve weeks (starting in May or June, 2019.) Standard work hours are between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. All interested applicants can email the resume and cover letter to Rachel Mitchell at

JOB PURPOSE: As a member of the Professional Services team, the QA Analyst intern works with the Clinical Historical Archive project teams to test client solutions on the Trinisys Healthcare client solution. The Intern QA Analyst for healthcare will design and execute test cases using test plans and functional specifications. During your internship with us, you'll work on real projects alongside employees who have expertise in your area of professional interest. This position will be working with patient data so experience or interest in Healthcare is preferred.

The intern will get experience with the following:
• Participating in the QA and production validation of clinical and patient financial archive
• Assisting with the creation of test plans for clinical and patient financial archives
• Documenting the results of completed testing
• Performing follow up testing to ensure errors have been corrected
• Performing deliverables tracking and reporting as assigned
• Monitoring progress of testing efforts within the team to ensure deadlines are met

Education and/or Experience

• Coursework in Health Information Management or Clinical Practice of Medicine, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience or interest in healthcare/clinical data
• Ability to analyze data
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Logical and efficient, detail oriented and problem solver
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Strong customer service orientation
• Positive attitude & strong work ethic

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Excellent and creative problem-solving skills.
