Group Sales- Inside Sales RepresentativeNashville Shores Lakeside Resort is a 385-acre family recreation destination located on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN, just past the airport off I-40 (Exit 221B). It is comprised of a first-class water park, Treetop Adventure Park (ropes courses and zip lines), RV campground, lakeview cabins, a 310-slip marina, boat and Jet-Ski rental business and other attractions.Primary Responsibility:This position is responsible for the growth and development of small group business segment of 50 people or less. Receive inbound sales calls, make outbound sales calls to new and former accounts with a focus on small pre-paid groups such as church, family, school, birthday parties and other special interest groups.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound phone sales; answering questions about the group sales rates, options, date availability and overall property informationProcessing ,organizing and compiling all group ticket orders for shipment or deliveryMaintain small group database and report weekly bookings to the Group Sales ManagerMeet or exceed phone call/booking goals assigned by Group Sales ManagerAssist Guest Relations staff with ticket "pick-ups" and answer Group Sales-related questions on busy daysAssist when needed with large catered outing, birthday parties, or special eventsAssist Corporate Sales Representatives with other assigned office tasksAll other duties as assigned by Group Sales ManagerSkills and Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of agePositive upbeat attitude towards sellingExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenMust be extremely organized and detail- orientedMust demonstrate outgoing personality and professional appearanceStrong working knowledge of Windows with main attention to Word and ExcelMust be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environmentMust be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to lift and carry 25 to 30 poundsPerforms other duties as required and assignedSkills and Abilities:Problem Solving– Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information efficiently; and develop alternative solutions when needed.Mathematic Ability– Utilize basic arithmetic (Add, Subtract, Divide, and Multiply)Technical Skills– Properly handle a cash register and its functions after training.Communication– Greet each and every guest in a warm and inviting manor; complete all supporting documentation in a clear and concise fashion; and able to read and interpret information quickly.Planning/ Organizing– Keep assigned work area clean and organized at all times; file appropriate documentation and be able to furnish information on request; fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manor.Quality Control– Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; and be able to monitor own work for quality assurance.Dependability– Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; completes tasks on time; consistently on time for scheduled shift; and ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
