The Reimbursement Accountant I is responsible for preparing annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports to ensure maximum reimbursement for assigned hospitals. The Reimbursement Accountant I will provide hospital and audit support and will also be responsible for miscellaneous analytical duties as assigned. This position will develop and maintain key regulatory knowledge in order to accurately perform duties.
Qualifications: License or Certification:
- None

Education, Training and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred) or a Finance Degree with additional pertinent experience
- Zero to two years of reimbursement experience
- Working experience of Microsoft Office Products

Machines, Equipment Used:
- General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.
