DC-based non-profit seeks professional on a part-time/consultancy basis to provide comprehensive low vision evaluations and services to diverse client base. Examinations will take place at our low vision clinic in downtown Silver Spring. Clinic hours are one day a week (M-F) with some flexibility.

Must be able to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of low vision devices and common ocular pathologies. Experience with vision loss, stroke and/or traumatic brain injury patients a plus.

Doctorate of Optometry degree from an accredited institution required, plus required licensure in DC, MD and VA. Must have a minimum of two to four years experience with clinical low vision care including pediatrics and binocular vision.
