Position Information

1-20 flexible hours/week

Special Events Operations requires students for set up, tear down, and building preparation for concerts, athletic, and any other special events held at the Pan American Center, Aggie Memorial Stadium, and other venues. Duties include the set up and tear down of tables, chairs, bike rack, pipe and drape, dressing rooms, stage, lights, sound and video equipment, concert load-in and load-out "tunnel crew", as well as the removal and replacement of the portable Aggie basketball court. This is an "on-call" position and as such requires the ability to work non-traditional shifts (nights, weekends, and holidays) due to concerts/events. Custodial duties included as required or assigned.
We are staring our application process right now, this way we can have the new staff finish online training in the summer. Your first day would be scheduled once the fall semester begins. We will have a busy fall semester starting off with Football and some upcoming special events at the pan am!
Must be a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individual.

Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.

Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.

Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

Must be able to work long, odd, and late hours as well as weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. Construction or Maintenance experience a plus. Students must be enrolled full-time (6 credits) and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
