Assist students (by telephone, email or in-person) who are seeking work-based positions (cooperative education and internship employment). Maintain confidentiality in dealing with all transactions. Utilize AggieCAREER Manager (internet based) registration system to record new registrants or look up information on existing candidates. Provide clerical, customer service and data entry assistance in the administration of the Cooperative Education Program (e.g., filing, typing of correspondence, operate computer, copier, fax machine, and handling of questions via phone, email or person). Other duties as assigned.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; friendly and outgoing. Able to interact with a variety of people and troubleshoot problems and concerns; must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; pay close attention to detail. Good computer keyboard skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and information. Help promote a professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be able to start work through spring 2018 semester.
