Conduct research to locate employers for participation in events with New Mexicoi State University. Utilize internet to identify employers through LinkedIn, Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Alliances, and other sources to add to the Employer Relations Office. Work closely with Coordinator and staff of Employer Relations unit with arrangements for employer on-campus interviews. Perform standard clerical duties including, but not limited to customer service, answering phones, providing general information in response to inquiries, data entry, filing, copying, shredding. Maintain confidentiality in dealing with all transactions. Utilize AggieCAREER Manager (internet based) registration system to enter and retrieve employer and/or candidate information. Successful candidate will interact with employers visiting the office who are conducting on-campus interviews. Interact with academic department staff and university services to arrange and confirm services requested.
MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND TRAINING on August 13, 2018.

Excellent skills in customer service, interpersonal communication (both verbal and written), and telephone etiquette. Friendly, outgoing, and culturally sensitive to support positive interactions with a variety of people. Punctual, dependable, and responsible with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Self-starter with time management skills, able to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all transactions.

Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with good conducting research and using spreadsheets.

Must be able to work independently and possess skills in critical thinking and decision-making. Proofreading skills required to ensure accuracy in data entry and reports. Basic math skills required to assist with monthly reports and data analysis. Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to work accurately with detailed projects.
