Seeking Youth Development Specialists:
Provide guidance and role modeling to youth ages 6-18, while ensuring a safe and positive environment. Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate activities based in core program areas: Sports, fitness & recreation, character & development, the arts, education & career development, and health & life skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes.
• Develop positive relationships with youth while enthusiastically implementing educational and fun program activities.
• Ensure all youth are safe, and provide positive guidance to manage negative behavior and eliminate bullying.
• May be required to transport youth in company vehicles.
• Maintain and care for equipment and supplies throughout the Club.
• Other duties as assigned.


Staff members with at least ONE of these specialized areas of expertise and the ability to pass those skills onto youth highly desired:
*Arts & Crafts
*Digital Arts
*Advanced Computer Skills
*Dance
*Social Recreation


PLEASE NOTE: These are Part-Time (20 to 25 hours per week) temporary positions.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 2 TO 6:30 PM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

Students eligible for Work Study will be given first priority.

Knowledge/Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's (in progress) preferred.
• Previous experience working with children/teens is preferred.
• Knowledge of youth development and a desire to inspire and enable youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe and fun environment.
• Effectively and appropriately communicate with parents and other staff members.
• Experience or aptitude in tutoring/mentoring all youth in a variety of subjects.
• Valid state driver's license
