NMSU - Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

Position Information

Weekdays - 15-20 Hrs. a week
Work directly with technical support staff in supporting the areas of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Responsibilities include installation, upgrade, repair and maintenance of workstation software. Position requires interaction with students and staff to provide technical assistance.

Will work some weekends to assist with special events.

Other responsibilities include installing software, configuring email and other office applications, and perform basic network support.
Individual must be knowledgeable with Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Microsoft Office, and PC hardware. Able to diagnose, repair, and install computer hardware and software.

Preferred majors: Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering Technology and ICT.

Applicant must be motivated, responsible, and possess excellent communication skills. As well as the ability to work well with others.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
