Curiosity and a desire to report accurate compelling stories are the qualities we seek. We prefer individuals who have an ongoing commitment to learning about the newspaper industry as it transitions to digital modes. We are developing a pool of staff writers who have diverse interests related to student issues, including academics, science and technology, student government, and issues that affect all aspects of student life. Preference is given to students who have a history of quality writing, including those who have research skills. We ask for writing samples so revise that research paper!
