The Academic Support Programs and Services Center is committed to providing quality educational services that achieve academic, personal, and career success for all student-athletes. Student Development Specialists are the first visible part of the Academic Support Programs and Services Center. Their job is to assist with day-to-day operations of the Center, provide tutoring/mentoring as needed/assigned to all student-athletes, coordinate and maintain key academic programs, oversee study hall, and connect student-athletes with appropriate services on campus.
-Maintain a 2.5 Cumulative GPA
-Excellent Communication skills
-Pursuing a Bachelor degree through New Mexico State University
-Enrolled Full-Time
-Have a full understanding of the importance of the work that is entrusted to the Academic Support Programs and Service Center.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (mainly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-Ability to multi-task on various office projects
-Basic knowledge of Yahoo Messenger, Outlook and general office equipment
-Must be dependable, patient and organized.
-Must be available to work evenings
