Primary Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains customer accounts within Company by performing the following duties:

Essential Work Activities: Other duties may be assigned
Supports Business Development Manager in carrying out the business development goals (sales targets and profit) of the Company.
Works with customers to determine their product needs.
Works with Business Development Manager and Engineering Service Department to introduce products to customers.
Collects and communicates marketing information to General Manager of Business Development.
Arranges and oversees deliveries of sample products to customers.
Reports customer sample evaluation results to ESD, R&D, and Business Development Manager.
Establishes pricing levels for all new and existing products with Business Development Manager. (Requires approval from General Manager of Business Development).
Generates and issues call reports for all customer meetings. Submits these reports to the highest superior of the Business Development team (at that time).
Generates monthly sales report for the highest superior of the Business Development team (at that time). Monthly reports, besides providing an update about current developments, should summarize the job duties performed for that month and how these duties correspond to the Business Development team meeting its assigned goals.
Generates yearly sales forecast for each assigned account for General Managers of Business Development.
Provides accurate monthly customer forecast to Material Planning.
Enforces contractual agreements with approval by Business Development Manager. Manages customer price changes internally.
Coordinates activities with internal department (form ordering to manufacturing to delivery).
Coordinates and oversees emergency deliveries to customers.
Works with customers and internal departments to resolve customer issues and concerns.
Performs additional duties as needed.
Plans business travel itinerary and accounts for all business related expenses per Company policy.
Works with accounting and inside sales to collect on customers' unpaid invoices.
Plans for the build-up of consignment inventory in coordination with the Material Planner, examines the customer's purchase orders, and manages the inventory.
Negotiates the sale of excess inventory to customers.
Follows the ISO 9000 standards for quality management and submits the necessary documents required to comply with these standards.
Expected to perform the above work activities at the Company workplace (rather than working from other locations, such as home) during regular business hours. May telecommute when working outside the Company's regular business hours or under special circumstances that are pre-approved by the Company.

Additional Duties (as part of Trade Show Exhibition management)
Attends trade shows to promote Company products and image.
Plans and coordinates exhibition related activities with General Manager of Business Development.

Qualifications:

Education and / or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university, M.B.A. or M.S. is a plus.
Preferable 3 years of direct sales experience in the U.S. microelectronics industry.
Preferable several years engineering experience within a semiconductor fab or semiconductor materials / equipment supplier.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The Company may, at its discretion, reduce these expectations for employees who are on a temporary assignment with The Company.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Skills:
Ability to communicate well and work with customers. Sales presentation and negotiation skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Driver's License

Training Requirements:
On The Job Training in understanding company products.
"General Familiarization Training" required by OSHA.
