Job Description
Responsible for coordination of the marketing and promotional programs of a local design and build remodeling company. Position works with and reports to the owner.

Responsibilities
Planning and Reporting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Marketing Plan and programs.
- Work closely with Owner, Office Manager, Production team, and Design team in matters relating to marketing and promotion.
- Develop, conduct, and analyze market research to identify major market segments and trends, and incorporate findings into Marketing Plan as appropriate.

Business Development
- Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
- Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting website traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
- Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

Media Management and Content Generation: Print, Digital, & Creative
- Oversee all company promotional efforts, including preparation of creative collateral and promotional campaigns.
- Assure that all related printing needs are met through the use of in-house or outside facilities, and supervise printers, artists and photographers, as required.
- Connect with appropriate media outlets and influential members of the media to place stories about company news and other initiatives.
- Create content regularly to grow the company’s public brand awareness, including but not limited to press releases, corporate announcements, and creative visual content.
- Collaborate with colleagues to craft and pitch press releases and thought leadership columns.
- Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company.
- Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Houzz, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Evaluate both platforms and campaign-specific reporting regularly to monitor activity and plan for growth.
- Create shareable content appropriate to specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
- Bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team.

Events
- Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral.
Desired Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
2. 1-3 years’ experience in marketing, PR, or a related field.
3. Strong team mentality: ability to deal effectively with the public, coordinate with creative and technical service providers, and collaborate productively with colleagues.
4. Excellent communications skills, both oral and written; marketing research experience; and strong analytical skills.
5. Great eye for design
6. Knowledge of home design and building trends a big plus
