Full-time, Internship, Summer and Part-time Job Fair
3/28/2013 12:00 PM - 3/28/2013 3:00 PM
The Towson West Village Commons, 4th Floor
Don't miss the LAST major on-campus recruitment event of the semester! It's the perfect opportunity to:

* Personally connect with regional and national employers
* Find out which companies are hiring for which positions
* Land a full-time job, part-time job, or internship

What should I wear?

Dress like a professional, especially if you are a junior or senior. That means you should wear a clean, well-fitting, conservative, color-coordinated suit with closed-toe shoes. For more tips, check out this handy guide.

What should I bring?

Bring at least 10 copies of your resume, printed on high-quality paper and tucked neatly inside a portfolio or folder. We highly recommend a Career Center resume review! Make an appointment at careercenter@towson.edu or 410-704-2233.

Will I be offered a job or internship on the spot?

Probably not (although that would be great!). But employers will take note of your enthusiasm, communication skills, and professional demeanor. Some may ask you to apply online. When you do, be sure to mention the name of the representative you met, and describe how that conversation influenced your decision to apply.

How should I prepare?

Employers love to meet students who are already familiar with their company. Find out who’s coming to the Mega Fair (above) and research employers of interest, starting with their company Web site. You should also prepare a 30-second “elevator pitch” that will grab their attention.
