At The Career Fair:
Visit with company representatives--a great opportunity to network. Research the companies who will be in attendance through the list on our web site or in Career Connect.

Points to Remember:
  • Dress appropriately! First impressions are important.
  • Bring copies of your resume.
  • Don't forget your STUDENT ID for registration.
  • Don't be discouraged if your major is not listed, the representative may know of openings in other departments.
  • Some employers may direct you to their website application process--even so, network, network, network!

    Career Services at the University of North Dakota, cordially invites you to participate in our Career Fair. The Career Fair is a bi-annual event attended by students from all fields of study. The fair provides an excellent opportunity for employers to provide information about their company and to connect with students to discuss or interview for current and/or future career-related employment and Co-op/internship opportunities.

    NOTE: This event is only for bona fide employers of college interns and grads. Anyone wanting to participate for the sole purpose of promoting anything but jobs and to provide company information, may not attend.

    **In order to secure booth space payment must be received by February 11, 2014. Registrations will not be accepted after this date.

    Registration Fees:
    $230 - Single Booth (without electricity)
    $255 - Single Booth (with electricity)
    $425 - Double Booth (without electricity)
    $475 - Double Booth (with electricity)

    $400 - Both Days Single Booth (without electricity)
    $450 - Both Days Single Booth (with electricity)
    $675 - Both Days Double Booth (without electricity)
    $775 - Both Days Double Booth (with electricity)

    Registration fees include:
    · Six foot table(s)/chairs
    · tablecloth, if needed
    · free parking or free shuttle to/from your hotel
    · lunch/snacks/refreshments

    The registration fee is non-refundable after February 4, 2014 and goes up as follows:

    $280 - Single Booth (w/o electricity)
    $305 - Single Booth (with electricity)
    $475 - Double Booth (w/o electricity)
    $525 - Double Booth (with electricity)

    $450 - Both Days Single Booth (without electricity)
    $500 - Both Days Single Booth (with electricity)
    $775 - Both Days Double Booth (without electricity)
    $875 - Both Days Double Booth (with electricity)

    Cancellations:
    Notification is appreciated so we may inform students. Refund of the registration fee (minus a $50 administrative fee) will be given for cancellations received up to 10 business days before the date of the fair, by 4 p.m. (CDT). (In this case, February 4, 2014.) There is no refund of the registration fee for cancellations after 4 p.m. (CDT) on February 11, 2014. No exceptions.

    IMPORTANT:
    UND will begin assessing late fees on all past due charges on a monthly basis. A charge is considered “past due” when it is not paid within 30 days of the due date. Late fees will be assessed based on the past due charges on the last day of each month. Summary of late fee changes:
    · 1.75% of all past due charges
    · Assessed monthly (as of balance last day of the month)

    To set up interviews before or after the Career Fair:
    Contact our Recruitment Coordinator. Rooms go quickly for the day after the fair, so please call as soon as possible to reserve yours.

    For those of you who are unable to attend the Spring Career Fair, we are planning a Fall Career Fair in October 2014. Registration for the Fall Fair will be available online in March 2014.

    We do run an ad in the school paper announcing the companies who will be attending the fair, but, if you would like to place your own ad in the school paper announcing your participation in the fair, you may contact the Dakota Student at 701-777-2677.
