Perch Furniture is a custom furniture design studio located in Portland's Pearl District. Our growth is accelerating, and we recently launched a new e-commerce website. We are looking for a design-oriented college graduate, who is interested in helping to grow our online presence through social media and strategic e-commerce planning. Most importantly, we want a team player who is committed to becoming an expert on our products and is excited to provide our clients (both in store and online) with a welcoming, positive experience.

Our design associates are the heart of our family-owned shop. We work on a relationship-based sales model and are looking for a person that genuinely loves design, kills it with kindness, and is strong enough to have an opinion. We would also appreciate a good listener, someone who can create a comfortable, easy shopping environment, and can handle customer requests both in the shop and for our customers online. This position is full time and will actively contribute to brand growth - one strategic project at a time. Duties may also include work surrounding e-commerce conversion rate optimization. The schedule is Sunday thru Thursday 9:45 to 6:00 pm.

- responsibilities -
• Driving showroom and online sales through thoughtful, engaged practices and excellent customer service.
• Planning and executing social media strategy (including Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram)
• E-commerce project implementation
• Timely, organized responses to customer inquiries via email and phone
• Coordinate post-sales client communication, including order status updates, delivery tracking and scheduling, and post-delivery follow up
• General shop administrative duties

• Previous sales experience required
• Interior/ architectural / product design experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with samples
• Experience with social media campaigns and engagement tracking
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
• Availability to work the schedule as described
