Position Information

This is a full time, fast-paced position, which often requires working under strict deadlines. The Photography & Creative Coordinator will work within the Creative department on a variety of projects to promote and enhance the Mountain Rose Herbs brand. Main responsibilities to include photography, videos, and assistance with graphic design.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Dependability: is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback for improved performance.
2. Follows MRH procedures and protocols.
3. Clear, timely and effective communication.
4. Maintain a keen sense of brand, and an ability to marry heritage with modernity through compelling visual storytelling and craftsmanship.
5. Work collaboratively with the Creative Director to strategize on the imagery that supports the strategic goals and brand of Mountain Rose Herbs.
6. Photograph and edit products for the brand catalogue, website, blog, advertising, packaging, and various marketing materials.
7. Seek out appropriate photographic subjects and opportunities.
8. Carry out research and preparation for photo and video shoots.
9. Work in various locations and in different circumstances to get the right image. May include travel, both domestic and internationally.
10. Use an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software.
11. Photography: Arrange still life objects, products, scenes, props and backgrounds.
12. Understand digital photography and keep up to date with industry trends, developments and new techniques.
13. Maintain expertise with software to digitally enhance images.
14. Maintain expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
15. Produce video pieces that meet quality specifications and established deadlines.
16. Video: Must be able to trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film, input music, dialogues, graphics and effects, Create rough and final cuts, and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
17. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
18. Assist the Creative Director with creative projects including graphic design, print and web graphics, marketing collateral, and digital design.
19. Provide graphic design support by making changes to existing projects, including content edits and layout changes.
20. Assist in creating graphics that adhere to the Mountain Rose Herbs style and brand identity.
21. Willingness to learn and perform new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
22. Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who preferably has 2+ years relevant experience, experience with the natural products, and some herbal knowledge. Examples of creative work MUST be included with the application to be considered.
