The project engineer provides overall support by managing material, documentation and communication with the project team. Located on the construction site, this role is a great training opportunity with a defined career path in project management or field supervision.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Work with supervisors, trade contractors and suppliers regarding assigned schedules, project progress, inventory and material deliveries to ensure attainment of project objectives, schedule completion and timely deliveries.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the general contractor, engineers, and inspectors to facilitate job progress and to promote a positive company image. Provide support to the project superintendent regarding project correspondence including change orders, return of material forms, back charges, purchase orders and timesheets.
• Guide and assist employees in identifying, analyzing and resolving existing or anticipated obstacles to meet task and project schedules.
• Ensure project safety compliance.
• Receive hands-on training regarding construction life cycle, site management and installation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field required.
• Possess strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
